In 2000 he began working for the CDN (now Comarch), where he led the development of a web-based ERP software - Optima. In 2005 Maciek graduated from University of Science and Technology in Cracow, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science and Electronics.
By 2010 he has worked as a freelancer for companies such as: Colgate, Salomon, Fiat and RTE. In 2011 he led development of SportTracker (now Metrifit), an innovative sports performance SaaS product, used for improving performance in sport.
In 2012 he joined ProtonLabs as CTO. This Dublin based company developed prototype as a service model, aiding startups and SMEs in converting their ideas and concepts into high potential business propositions.
Nine months later he decided to get back to working on hiverMAG and to launch a new project - Evenemento, a sports event management software.
Throughout his life Maciej has participated in many sports events, international tournaments and league games. Having observed difficulties faced by the sports events organizers and looking at giving attendees better experience, he is now passionately working on creating a cutting edge technology solutions at hiverMAG & Evenemento.
Involved in skiing from the age of 2. Started as an alpine skier, then switched to park & pipe and finally dedicated himself to freeride skiing.
As an alpine pro he won numerous national and international titles (including the Champion of Poland) and became a ski instructor. As a park & pipe enthusiast he obtained a freeskiing judge license and has judged the biggest freeskiing competitions in Poland.
As a freeride skier he simply tries to shred hard and enjoy big mountain, whether during competitions (he was the second best Pole of the Polish Freeride Open ’12) or just having fun with his dudes.
Marcin is a last-year student of physiotherapy at University of Physical Education in Kraków, planning to specialize in sports physiotherapy. He tries to combine his studies with skiing and work at hiverMAG and by now he is doing pretty well.
Based in Kraków (Poland), he travels all around the mountain world in search of fresh pow. Shredding, inventing ideas and partying hard are the only ways to put his restful mind at ease.
Sebastian is another exceptional member of our crew. His greatest passions are skiing and surfing. He claims to reach his finest performance while being surrounded by wild nature. As a teenager he used to take part in ski racing competitions with great successes but his real love to skiing has been found in freestyle.
He used to take part in organizing major sport and music events in Poland such as Burn in Snow Festival or Wondol Challenge Festival. What is more, he organizes freeride camps as well as freestyle camps and activities dedicated for children.
Having graduated from BSc in Architecture and Urbanism at the Podhale State University he developed outstanding skills in photography, graphics, music and various techniques in drawing. These, combined with his creativity and great will to grow, makes him an irreplaceable addition to our team.
Mieszko was born in 1991. Four years later he began competing in alpine skiing. As a teenager he won many competitions and represented Poland on the international area.
After ten years of racing he decided to connect both of his passions: photography and skiing. It resulted in regular cooperation with brands such as RedBull or The North Face as an event photographer. His photos has been repeatedly awarded, inter alia, by the Freeskier Magazine.
As a photographer, not only did he participate in the major polish extreme sports events, but also, for several years he has been responsible for the official photo reports from Tattoo Conventions held in Wrocław, Gdańsk, Katowice and Kraków, which are the biggest events connected with tattoos, music and modern art in Poland.
Michal puts love for skiing before anything. Connected with ‘skiing community’ for 21 years, ended his professional ski racer career in 2006. Gaining several Polish Champion titles as well as multiple wins in Polish Cup, he also successfully competed in freeskiing.
Having obtained freeskiing judge license, he judged the biggest freeskiing competitions in Poland: PFO and BurnInSnow, where he gained hand on experience with event organization, communication and sport contests networking.
He spent 2012 in Whistler, BC, Canada to advance in skiing, get experience in backcountry skiing as well as widen his network in international skiing community."
Michal graduaded from BSc in Civil Engineering at Cracow University of Technology, and he is currently attending MSc course in International Economy at Jagiellonian University. His professional sporting career will add great strength to hiverMAG team.
